John Kraft is a senior associate in the litigation department. John’s practice is concentrated in the areas of business and commercial litigation, construction litigation, and insurance coverage and litigation. Prior to joining the Firm, John practiced extensively in the areas of fidelity and employee dishonesty insurance, as well as surety bonding and mechanics liens. John has also litigated numerous claims involving accountant and auditor malpractice. He has extensive experience in all phases of litigation, including pre-trial negotiations, depositions, alternative dispute resolution, mediation, trials, and appeals. John received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Michigan in 2000, and his Juris Doctor from Loyola University Chicago in 2003. At Loyola, John was a member of the Consumer Law Review, was on the dean’s list, and won the CALI award for Cyberlaw. After law school, John served as law clerk to the Honorable Stuart A. Nudelman of the Circuit Court of Cook County, where he handled a wide range of commercial litigation matters including engineering and technology law disputes, accounting and attorney malpractice, and corporate litigation.
